It may all depend on how you like your shrimp cooked, but once you know the real trick, you’d say shrimps are easy to cook. You can use a charcoal grill or gas grill to cook your shrimp, but make sure to preheat the grill before putting the shrimps. For a charcoal grill, ensure that the coals are red hot, and for the gas grill, see to it that it is preheated at 300 °C. Grill the shrimp for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Cover the grill if you’re using gas. Avoid overcooking the shrimp, as it may turn the flesh hard and rubbery.

One hint to know if the shrimp is cooked, it will turn golden brown. To check whether the shrimp is ready, poke it with a toothpick. If the toothpick pierces the flesh without any effort, then your shrimp is done. Otherwise, let it cook for a couple more minutes.
